Bronchiolitis
OSCOUR®: In S50-2023, the proportion of emergency department visits related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age decreased slightly. It stood at 23.3%, representing 501 visits. The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit for children under 2 years of age was 40%.
SOS Médecins: In S50-2023, the proportion of SOS Médecins’ activity related to bronchiolitis continues to decline. It stands at 8.2%, or 47 consultations.
Influenza
Entering the epidemic phase.
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for flu-like illness, all ages, continues to rise in week 50-2023 compared to the previous week (216 visits versus 166 in week 49-2023), representing 0.8% of activity.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like symptoms, across all age groups, has risen sharply in week 50-2023 (890 consultations compared to 654 in week 49-2023); the share of activity for flu is 10.9%.
COVID-19
OSCOUR®: In Week 50-2023, the number of emergency department visits for COVID-19 continued to rise compared to previous weeks (577 visits compared to 530 in Week 49-2023), representing 2.2% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: In Week 50 of 2023, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 remained stable compared to the previous week (299 consultations versus 316 in Week 49 of 2023), representing 3.7% of the activity of SOS Médecins associations in the region.
Acute Gastroenteritis
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for gastroenteritis, across all age groups, remained stable in Week 50 of 2023 compared to previous weeks. The share of activity is 1% and is higher than that observed during the same period last year.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for gastroenteritis across all age groups continues to rise in Week 50 of 2023. The share of activity for these conditions is 6% and is higher than that observed during the same period last year.
