Health Surveillance in the Alsace Region. Epidemiological Update as of May 24, 2012.

Key Points

  • The number of asthma diagnoses has remained low over the past two weeks. However, the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA) has observed a gradual increase in grass pollen levels in Strasbourg over the past three weeks. Vigilance is therefore advised.

  • The number of allergy diagnoses remains high for the SOS Médecins association in Mulhouse.

  • Activity related to gastroenteritis is decreasing in the region. A return to baseline levels was observed in week 20.
