Epidemiological Summary

The circulation of the dengue virus intensified in Kourou and Maripasoula during the second week of January.
On December 24, 2019, the Committee on Infectious and Emerging Diseases proposed moving the Maroni sector to Phase 2 of the Psage* dengue protocol.
The epidemiological situation in the Kourou and Maroni sectors corresponds to Phase 2 of the Psage* dengue protocol: Epidemic outbreaks.

In the rest of the territory, the situation has remained calm and still corresponds to Phase 1 of the Psage* dengue: Sporadic cases.
