Key Points

Acute respiratory infections

  • Moderate and declining activity in primary care and stable in emergency departments (all ages).

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Decrease in activity, less pronounced than in previous weeks, in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins (all ages);

  • Decrease in hospitalizations following visits to the emergency room, all ages;

  • Decrease in the influenza virus positivity rate at the University Hospitals of Lille and Amiens;

  • Decrease in the mortality rate attributable to influenza as reported via electronic certification.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Moderate activity, increasing at SOS Médecins (all ages) and in emergency departments, mainly among children under 5;

  • Increase in hospitalizations following visits to emergency departments among children under 5;

  • Decrease in incidence, all ages, as estimated by the Sentinelles network.
