Bronchiolitis

  • Epidemic level: Bronchiolitis activity levels rose in week 47, reaching a level comparable to those observed last season. The Île-de-France region is on epidemic alert for the fifth week.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • In hospitals: The number of emergency room visits for flu-like illness was on the rise, particularly among those over 15 years of age.

  • In private practice: The number of cases of flu-like illness was rising for the SOS Médecin association, linked to an increase in flu-related visits among those under 15 and those aged 15–64.

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: The number of cases for suspected COVID-19 remained stable in week 47 across all age groups.

  • Emergency room visits: The number of emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19 decreased among those under 15 in week 47 and remained stable in other age groups. Case numbers remained low.

  • SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: the downward trend in SARS-CoV-2 circulation levels in wastewater in Île-de-France continued in Week 47.
