Extreme heat and heat waves

  • Seasonal monitoring began on June 1.

COVID-19

  • Increase in May 2024 in the circulation of SARS-CoV-2, though levels remain low.

Hepatitis A

  • An increase in mandatory reports of hepatitis A cases has been observed since May 2024, particularly in connection with two clusters of cases in Normandy:

    • a collective foodborne illness outbreak linked to the consumption of oysters in Calvados;

    • a cluster of cases at a middle school in Seine-Maritime.

Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya

  • In Normandy, since surveillance began on May 1, 23 imported cases of dengue have been reported through mandatory reporting.
