Situation in Lower and Upper Normandy

Surveillance of severe influenza cases (source: network of 24 adult and pediatric intensive care, critical care, and continuous care units in Lower Normandy and Upper Normandy).

No severe cases of influenza have been reported to Cire Normandie since surveillance was resumed in Lower Normandy and Upper Normandy on November 1, 2012.

A general review of regional indicators shows an increase in influenza activity since week 51 of 2012 in Lower Normandy and Upper Normandy, indicating that the seasonal influenza epidemic is taking hold in both regions.
