Heat Wave Watch in the Limousin Region. Update as of August 18, 2012

According to Météo-France, this Saturday, the heat will intensify slightly further as it spreads toward northern and eastern France. The low temperatures recorded this morning from the southwest to the center of the country generally ranged from 18 to 24 degrees. Highs will reach 37 to 40 degrees, locally 41, from the southwest to the central-west and central parts of the country, except near the coasts and in mountainous areas. In Limousin, temperatures could reach 40 to 41 degrees in Corrèze and 38 degrees in Haute-Vienne. Météo-France recommends maintaining an Orange alert for the three departments of Limousin. Heat impact indicators do not show a significant increase in Limousin for August 17.
