Key Points

In Week 18, viral circulation continued the decline that began in Week 17, with the incidence rate falling below the threshold of 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants for the first time since the end of 2021. The positivity rate, also on the decline, stood at 32%. At the same time, for the third consecutive week, there has been a decrease in new hospitalizations.
