Status of Dengue and Chikungunya: 2012 Report for Réunion and the Indian Ocean. Epidemiological Update as of February 14, 2013.

The year 2012 was marked in Réunion by the reemergence of the dengue virus, which had not been actively circulating on the island since 2004. However, no indigenous cases of chikungunya were identified. This epidemiological report provides an overview of the epidemiological situation regarding these two diseases in 2012 on the island and across all countries and territories in the Indian Ocean.
