Over the past week in the region:

• The bronchiolitis outbreak continues to rise compared to week 51, with an increase in bronchiolitis diagnoses among children under 2 years of age. This is confirmed by a sharp increase in emergency room visits for children under 1 year of age.

• The number of acute gastroenteritis cases diagnosed by SOS Médecins remains stable compared to week 51.

• The number of influenza-like illnesses remains below epidemic thresholds. Neither the Nantes University Hospital nor the Angers University Hospital has isolated the influenza A virus from the samples received.
