  • West Nile: active viral circulation in the Var (16 human cases and 1 equine case as of 09/10).

High temperatures, heat wave

  • No heatwave episodes expected in the coming days.

  • Heat-related activity is decreasing in emergency rooms and at SOS Médecins.

COVID-19

  • Syndromic indicators are slightly down. Virological indicators are down in the city, up in hospitals, but remain at low levels.

Asthma related to the start of the school year

  • Asthma-related activity is on the rise in emergency rooms and stable for SOS Médecins.

Pollen

  • Allergy risk across the entire region is moderate to high, particularly due to ragweed pollen (source: RNSA).
