  • In emergency departments: among 15- to 17-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds, visits for suicide attempts and suicidal ideation were on the rise in the second half of 2022. Particularly among 11- to 17-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds, these visits have remained at a higher level since early 2022 compared to the previous three years; in the latter age group, visits for suicide attempts reached their highest level since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • In the SOS Médecins network: an increase in cases related to anxiety was observed among children and adults, but the numbers remained at levels comparable to those of previous years.
