This article summarizes the report titled "Epidemiological Impact of a Change in BCG Vaccination Policy in France," published in July 2001 by the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance. Based on this report and the conclusions of two working groups of the French High Council for Public Health, a change in policy regarding post-vaccination tuberculin tests and the revaccination of children and adults subject to mandatory occupational vaccination is currently being adopted.
