A framework for developing social and emotional skills in schools.

This article outlines the foundations and challenges of integrating psychosocial skills into schools. The authors review the development of health promotion in schools, as well as issues related to teacher training and the challenges teachers face. They also assess recent changes in the education system that could support an educational pathway for students that places greater emphasis on psychosocial skills.
