Vulnerable Migrants and Health: Introduction to the Report
This report focuses on the health of migrants. It takes a holistic view of health, encompassing health determinants, the environment, socioeconomic status, access to employment, healthcare, and preventive care, as well as life trajectories, past traumas, and mental health. This comprehensive approach is part of a broader health promotion strategy. Some thirty contributing experts have focused their analysis on migrants in vulnerable situations. They provide an overview of the current state of scientific knowledge and professional practices, as well as the systems and programs implemented to address the health challenges faced by migrants.
