VoozaFlu: A Tool for Monitoring the New Influenza A(H1N1)v. Special Issue. Chronicle of the Early Stages of a Pandemic
When the alert regarding the new influenza virus was issued on April 25, 2009, the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance and the company EpiConcept developed a tool enabling the management and monitoring of reports and possible, probable, or confirmed cases in real time by the various stakeholders responsible for surveillance. This application, named VoozaFlu, became operational on April 29 and has continued to evolve in response to surveillance needs. (R.A.)
