COVID-19

Increase in the incidence rate and stability in the positivity rate calculated from PCR and antigen tests. The incidence rate rose from 190.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 12 to 207.0 per 100,000 in Week 13. The positivity rate decreased compared to Week 12 to 5.2%. The proportion of suspected cases of the so-called British variant is 82.3% in Brittany, and that of the Brazilian or South African variants is 5.3%. Vaccination coverage has reached 15.5% for a single dose. As of March 31, there were 23 confirmed cases in Brittany of the 20C/655Y variant, initially identified at Lannion Hospital. The overall situation shows a stabilization in incidence but continued significant strain on hospitals.

Regional trend on the rise. Epidemic activity, ascending phase. Sharp increases in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

Gastroenteritis

Regional trend on the rise. Low activity. Increase in activity for emergency room visits and SOS Médecins indicators.

Influenza

Low activity, outside the epidemic phase.
