A program to prevent abuse in elementary schools.

In Orly, in the Val-de-Marne department, a program to prevent child abuse and sexual assault is being implemented by a network of professionals from the health, social services, and education sectors. This program has gradually been expanded to include sex education, gender diversity, and respect for others. At the heart of the initiative, psychologists, doctors, and school nurses work in eight preschool and elementary schools, in partnership with parents. There is strong demand from both teachers and parents, but the financial resources allocated do not match the scale of the challenge.
