In Besançon, a Teen Center has been open since 2005, established on the initiative of child and adolescent psychiatrists at the local hospital. Its strength lies in bringing together under one roof all the professionals who can collectively support and provide medical and psychological care for adolescents. The "Center" operates as a network linking educational, social, and health services. To date, 1,500 young people have been treated there.
