Head injuries. How should they be treated? What is the prognosis?
The consequences of head injuries are wide-ranging. Intellectual and behavioral disorders account for the bulk of the disability. Reintegrating those affected is often challenging, particularly for children in terms of their education. Family support groups do their best to compensate for the shortcomings of the healthcare system, which does not provide enough places in sheltered workplaces, residential care homes, day activity centers, or specialized care facilities.
