Three experts—Vincent Girard, a psychiatrist, and doctors Pascale Estecahandy and Pierre Chauvin—submitted a report to government authorities in late 2009 that includes recommendations for action. Interview with Vincent Girard, who led this initiative and heads a street psychiatry intervention team in Marseille composed of professionals and homeless individuals, which assists people suffering from severe psychiatric disorders. A sidebar is dedicated to the issue of women living alone and without a home.
