Survival Rates for People with Cancer in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 – Nasopharynx

In France, for the year 2018, the estimated number of new cases of nasopharyngeal cancer was 241 among men and 85 among women. Key points: 5-year age-standardized survival rate of 66% for people diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; peak excess mortality rate immediately after diagnosis; 5 years after diagnosis, low excess mortality rate regardless of age at diagnosis.
