[BDSP. Report produced by MRPS G0R0x59l. Distribution subject to authorization]. The objective of the study is to identify different consumer profiles in France by analyzing data from the 2002 Health and Nutrition Barometer survey on food consumption over the past 15 days. Seven profiles have been identified: hedonists, utilitarians, conscientious eaters, practical eaters, traditionalists, savvy eaters, and light eaters. These profiles are illustrated using sociodemographic variables, behavioral variables, and lifestyle variables related to food.
