Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of January 9, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

The latest epidemiological surveillance data on dengue confirm that the virus is still circulating in Martinique; 58% of municipalities have reported biologically confirmed cases. Nevertheless, over the past three weeks, there has been a slight slowdown in the number of new reported cases, partly due to the holiday season. However, it is important to remain cautious about how the situation evolves and to continue strengthening individual and community prevention measures, as a more intense resurgence of viral circulation cannot be ruled out.
