Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
In Saint Martin, chikungunya virus circulation is moderate. This community remains in Phase 2 of the Psage*: moderate local transmission. In Saint Barthélemy, a temporary resurgence in viral circulation has been observed, but the situation in Saint Barthélemy still corresponds to Phase 2 of the Psage: moderate local transmission. In Martinique, the epidemic continues, with a moderate increase in the number of clinically suggestive cases, while other surveillance indicators remain relatively stable. Martinique is in Phase 3 of the Psage: widespread epidemic. In Guadeloupe, the epidemic continues intensely throughout the territory of Guadeloupe and its nearby islands. This situation corresponds to Phase 3 of the Psage: widespread epidemic. In French Guiana, viral circulation is intensifying with new outbreaks in 6 municipalities of the department. The situation corresponds to Phase 2 of the Psage*: moderate local transmission*.
