COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for the Grand Est Region as of September 16, 2021

In the Grand Est region, the number of new cases continued to decline in week 36 of 2021 (4,972 compared to 6,362 in week 35 of 2021), as did the number of people tested (279,421 in week 36 of 2021 compared to 288,357 in week 35 of 2021). The incidence rate also fell to 90.2 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and remains above the threshold for active virus circulation (set at 50 per 100,000 inhabitants). The positivity rate decreased (1.8% compared to 2.2% in week 35 of 2021).
