A health promotion center for Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

The Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Urban Community is developing a comprehensive approach to promoting the health of its residents. After identifying their needs through a local health observatory, the community established a health promotion institute ten years ago that brings together all stakeholders in the medical and social sectors. As a symbol of this collaborative effort, a center called Gérondicap—which offers tailored services, such as day care, to older adults with disabilities and their families—opened in October 2010. Interview with Robert Cadalbert, president of the urban community.
