City Health Workshop in Toulouse: Community Leaders and Researchers Work Together.
In Toulouse, the intervention research program "Learning and Acting to Reduce Social Health Inequalities" (AAPRISS) brought together community practitioners and researchers. Professionals from the Atelier santé ville, an initiative dedicated to disadvantaged populations, agreed to allow researchers to participate in working meetings, analyze intervention methods, and discuss the initiative’s actions and their regulation. This collaborative process is not a given; it requires shared interests and mutual recognition among all parties involved in “working together.”
