In Réunion, “Training Professionals on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder” [Interview].

Réunion is the French territory most affected by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. A specific prevention and support plan for affected women and children has been in place for several years. The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Resource Center trains professionals from all sectors—health, medical-social, social services, education, and the judiciary—and coordinates their efforts. It also informs the public about the risks associated with alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
