Key Points

  • Since the beginning of 2019, 17,921 cases have been confirmed: the number of confirmed cases declined during weeks 35–36, with 25 and 12 confirmed cases, respectively (unconsolidated data), and has decreased across all municipalities

  • Since the beginning of 2019, 50,000 clinically suggestive cases have been reported;

  • During this period, 13 municipalities are still affected by active virus circulation;

  • St Pierre and St Leu are the most affected municipalities;

  • Winter circulation is now comparable to that of 2018;

  • The two serotypes, DENV1 and DENV2, are circulating throughout the island.
