Week 37

  • In emergency departments: following a sharp increase in Week 36, visits for suicide attempts, suicidal ideation, and mood disorders continued to rise (though less markedly) among 11- to 14-year-olds and were decreasing or stable among 15- to 17-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds. For these three indicators, the observed levels were higher than in previous years.

  • In the SOS Médecins network: A slight increase in medical procedures for anxiety was observed among 0- to 10-year-olds and those aged 65 and older (small sample sizes). The number of procedures for anxiety and depressive states observed among 18- to 24-year-olds and 25- to 64-year-olds was higher than in previous years.

  • All other indicators in S37 remained at levels comparable to those of previous years.
