Family and Parenting Support Program for Children Ages 6–11: 10 Years of Experience in France

A program designed in the United States to support parenting and the development of children’s psychosocial skills has been recognized as “evidence-based” across the Atlantic. Since 2010, it has been adapted and implemented in France at 32 sites across eight regions. Is effectiveness transferable in this type of health promotion intervention? The evaluation indicates that the French program reduces behavioral problems in children and improves their well-being.
