Initially designed for adults, the "Housing First" program—which provides housing for homeless individuals and offers them personalized support—has recently been adapted for people under the age of 25. The support services are more intensive, with an approach based on empowerment, fostering a sense of ownership of the housing, coordinated care, psychosocial rehabilitation, access to vocational training and employment, recreational activities, and the potential for rebuilding family ties.
