Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

In Saint Martin, chikungunya virus circulation is very moderate. This territory remains in Phase 2 of the Psage*: moderate local transmission. In Saint Barthélemy, a decline in viral circulation has been observed. The epidemiological situation in this territory will be reassessed shortly by the expert committee, with a view to a possible change in phase. This territory remains in Phase 3a of the Psage* chikungunya system: epidemic situation. In Martinique, the epidemic continues, although surveillance indicators have been stabilizing over the past few weeks. Martinique remains in Phase 3a of the Psage: epidemic situation. In Guadeloupe, the epidemic continues to spread and affects the entire territory. On April 10, this department was placed in Phase 3a of the Psage*: epidemic situation. In French Guiana, viral circulation is intensifying and new outbreaks are emerging. French Guiana remains in Phase 2 of the Psage*: moderate local transmission*.
