Situation Analysis

All epidemiological indicators show an increase in the number of gastroenteritis cases in Martinique since mid-December 2014. The fact that expected maximum values have been exceeded for several weeks confirms the onset of the seasonal gastroenteritis epidemic in Martinique. In this context, and in order to limit the spread of the germs causing these cases of gastroenteritis, it is essential to strictly follow the hygiene guidelines outlined below.
