Hepatitis A Outbreak in the Île-de-France Region - Epidemiological Report - December 2017.

Key points.

The hepatitis A (HAV) outbreak, which began in February 2017 in the Île-de-France region among men who have sex with men (MSM), has continued to decline since October 2017. There were five times fewer cases among men in December (18 cases) than in August (90 cases), the peak of the outbreak. However, the number of cases remains higher than levels observed in the absence of an outbreak.
