"Healthcare is built around health education"

Françoise Narring sees young people—some of whom suffer from anorexia or bulimia—at the University Hospital of Geneva, in a unit specializing in adolescents. She explains why, even before strict medical treatment, listening is a key part of the process, as is health education—which involves, in particular, deconstructing the dominant ideal of the slim young woman by working on body image.
