Medicine and Gender-Based Violence
At Jean-Verdier Hospital in Bondy, forensic professionals provide daily support to victims of violence. Moving beyond theoretical frameworks, doctors, psychologists, and nurses work together using a multidisciplinary approach. It all began with the establishment of dignified reception conditions, separating victims of violence from those accused of committing it. 25,000 people are seen for consultations each year.[R.A.]
