Storytelling workshops for minors have improved the atmosphere in detention [Interview].

This initiative—which consists of workshops on life stories and self-development—stems from the shared commitment of various institutions working with juvenile detainees — Judicial Youth Protection (PJJ), the prison administration — and partners in youth public policy, including the regional council, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Book Agency (ARL-Paca), and the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs (DRAC), who sought to expand the role and use of books in detention facilities through libraries.
