The weakening of the Evin Law is bad news for public health [Interview].

The new public health law expands the scope for alcohol producers to advertise wines and other alcoholic beverages by highlighting the concept of terroir. For organizations dedicated to preventing alcohol abuse, the new public health law weakens the Évin Act by promoting alcohol sales at the expense of public health.
