Health in Action, September 2017, No. 441: Gender and Health.

Gender is a major determinant of people’s health. Given this often-overlooked fact, any initiative in education, prevention, or health promotion must take gender into account and analyze it. This special issue presents a review of the current state of knowledge and an overview of evidence-based practices on the key theme of “Gender and Health.” The goal of this special issue is to make accessible an issue that is too often confined to specialized journals, so that all professionals in education, health, and social services can have access to it. A special issue coordinated by Yaëlle Amsellem-Mainguy, Maud Gelly, and Arthur Vuattoux. Some thirty experts and practitioners in the field contribute their analyses and testimonials.
