Epidemiological Situation

Guadeloupe: An isolated outbreak identified in Baie-Mahault

  • About 30 clinically suggestive cases seen in private practice since week 2019-29

  • One emergency room visit requiring hospitalization last week (week 2019-30)

  • 35 laboratory-confirmed cases since October 2018, including 3 new cases in week 2019-30

  • Identified serotypes: DENV-1, DENV-2, and DENV-3

Saint Martin: Dengue activity at baseline levels

  • Two clinically suggestive cases seen in private practice during week 2019-30

  • No emergency room visits for dengue since late May (week 2019-22)

  • 18 laboratory-confirmed cases since November 2018; no cases since late May

  • Identified serotype: DENV-1

Saint Barthélemy: No biologically confirmed cases identified
