Key Points

Lower Respiratory Tract Infections (acute lower respiratory tract infections, all etiologies)

  • Activity continued to decline in emergency departments (visits and hospitalizations following visits) and at SOS Médecins. The incidence rate measured by the Sentinelles network also decreased.

Bronchiolitis (< 1 year)

  • No alert

  • Activity in the SOS Médecins network as well as that recorded in emergency departments (visits and hospitalizations) increased slightly, but remained within the ranges observed in previous seasons.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Tenth week of the epidemic phase

  • Downward trend in all surveillance indicators: SOS Médecin, Sentinelles network, as well as in emergency departments for visits and hospitalizations following visits. Viral circulation remains active.

COVID-19

  • Activity remained low and stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.
