Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, November 12, 2019

Summary

Nationally, in week 44 (October 28 to November 3), mortality across all ages and causes remains within the usual range of fluctuation.

These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are not yet consolidated due to the usual delays in reporting. Their purpose is to describe trends in mortality, without linking them to any current events.

According to data from electronic death certificates, 2,250 deaths were recorded in week 45 (November 4–10, 2019).
