Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, October 15, 2019

Summary

Nationally, in week 40 (September 30 to October 6), mortality across all ages and causes remains within the usual range of fluctuation (Figures 1–3).

These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are still unconsolidated due to the usual transmission delays. Their purpose is to describe trends in mortality, without linking them to any current events.

According to data from electronic certification, 2,211 deaths were recorded in week 41 (October 7–13, 2019).
