In week 42 (October 14–20), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among children under 2 years of age for the third consecutive week (+4.3%, or +277 visits) and remained stable in other age groups.

Over the past week, there was a notable increase in procedures among children under 2 years of age for:

  • respiratory conditions: acute bronchitis (+16%, or +49 visits), pneumonia (+50%, or +8 visits),

  • non-specific conditions: isolated fever (+22.9%, or +49 visits), vomiting (+13.3%, or +15 visits).

There was also an increase in procedures among adults for general malaise (+13%, or +42 procedures) and for ENT conditions (+11%, or +36 procedures) among those aged 75 and older.

Among the most common conditions, the following increases in procedures are noted:

  • for dental conditions (+9.6% across all age groups, or +133 visits),

  • for trauma in those aged 75 and older (+11%, or +44 procedures).
