Emotional CPS Worksheet: Identifying Your Emotions (E1.2)
This fact sheet was written by Béatrice Lamboy based on the Santé publique France CPS Volume 1 framework. It focuses on the first general emotional psychosocial competency (CPS) and provides a summary of a specific emotional psychosocial competency: Identifying One’s Emotions (E1.2). Identifying one’s emotions refers to the ability to perceive and appropriately name one’s emotions and requires the development of two main psychological skills: Skill 1: Perceiving the emotional experience within oneself; Skill 2: Naming the perceived emotion(s). This specific competency can be applied during PSK activities. Thus, following a theoretical section, practical examples are presented for adults, adolescents, and children.
