City-wide monitoring

  • SOS Médecins: 932 suspected COVID-19 cases per 10,000 consultations (S17, 939 in S16)

  • Sentinelles Network: 30 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants (W17, 41 in W16)

  • LABM (3 labs): 6% positive tests (W17, 12% in W16)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • The number of cases has been decreasing since March 23 (Week 13)

  • The majority of cases and deaths are reported in nursing homes

Hospital surveillance

  • Oscour® Network: 884 suspected COVID-19 cases per 10,000 visits (Week 17, 1,389 in Week 16)

  • Hospital laboratories: 10% of tests positive (Week 17, 15% in Week 16)

  • SI-VIC: 1,199 people hospitalized, including 191 in intensive care as of April 28, 2020

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 61% of cases aged 65 and older, and 80% with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • Excess mortality detected since week 12, peaking in week 14
