Family history of colorectal cancer and negative blood culture: evaluation of two screening methods with the involvement of the family physician

This article presents the results of a study designed to evaluate the effectiveness of fecal occult blood tests and a self-administered questionnaire—subsequently validated by a family physician—for the prevention of colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is currently the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in France, among both men and women.
